Upgrades to guest user role
🎉 What's new
This one goes out to our guest users in Atlan — you will now be able to raise requests, share assets on Slack, and create and assign Jira tickets! We've expanded the range of capabilities of our guest users, empowering them to collaborate more meaningfully.
The following new capabilities are supported for our guest users:
- Raise requests: Once enabled by admins, guest users will be able to raise requests for metadata updates on assets. Guest users will no longer be able to make asset updates through personas, purposes, or policies.
- Raise Jira tickets: Guest users will be able to create and link Jira tickets in Atlan — making it easier to report issues or ask questions about assets.
- Share assets on Slack: Guest users will be able to share assets over Slack — improving communication between teams.
