Chrome extension support for dbt Cloud

🎉 What's new

Atlan’s Chrome extension opens up a sidebar within your dbt Cloud workspace and provides you with all the context you need, without having to switch tools.

Previously, users had to switch to Atlan for more information about their dbt Cloud assets — for example, who owns them or to analyze downstream impact. Now, you can use Atlan's Chrome extension to learn more about your models and sources right from your dbt Cloud model editor and dbt docs.

  • Available metrics include popularity score, recent users, and slow and popular queries!
  • Track your Databricks asset usage from the reporting center in Atlan.
  • Expensive queries and compute costs for Databricks assets are currently unavailable due to limitations of the Databricks APIs.

Set up the Databricks usage and popularity extractor today to get the precise insights you need!

Please note that this feature will be a paid addition. Reach out to your customer success manager for more information.

  • Use the Parent asset type filter to find columns for a specific type of parent asset — tables and views.
  • Use the Parent asset name filter to find columns with a specific table or view name or through pattern match.

Use hierarchical filters in playbooks

🎉 What's new
