Glossary are now discoverable on Assets page and CMD+K

With our new update, we are bringing Glossaries that are now discoverable on the assets page.

Earlier, it wasn't possible to search Glossaries via Atlan's search and filtering capabilities. So while you could find terms and categories by searching for them in Assets or pulling up CMD + K, you had to go to Glossary and find every glossary in the sidebar.

We want all users to be able to search for any asset and leverage search as a single solution, bringing Glossaries in search allows that.

Requests -> Home Screen Request Widget

Keep a track of created requests on Atlan with the new homepage widget.

In the past, people struggled to keep track of the requests they created on Atlan. They didn’t know what happened to each request or who to reach out to if a request was still pending. You deserve better than that.

With a new widget right on the home page itself, you now have better visibility into your recently created requests.

Requests → Community-Driven Suggestions

Smoother community-driven knowledge curation through requests.

Atlan encourages community-driven knowledge curation by letting anyone create a request. People can use these requests to suggest a new glossary category, rename a term, add more detail, and more.

The README Got Better

Now Atlan has native support for formulas in the README.

We noticed our users were documenting calculations and metric definitions by adding formulas in their READMEs, so we made native support for this :)

Now you can add formulas in your README! Just type /formulas and add a formula.

Try this out and tell us how we can make it better for you.
