You'll now be able to track enrichment for metadata like descriptions, classifications, and custom metadata across all your assets! Through these metrics, you’ll find answers to questions like “How many of the tables I own have terms attached?” and “How many columns in Snowflake have descriptions added?”.

Introducing a whole new set of filters in the Assets dashboard. These filters provide more granularity on metrics present in Reporting Center. These filters will help you drill down to numbers based on important metadata like ownership, certification, lineage, and many more!

Count/Percentage View Switcher: Now, you’ll be able to switch between count and percentage views for selected widgets in Reporting Center!

Collapse all buttons on top of the filters section on the left - clicking this will collapse all the expanded filter sections.

When you filter for Tables, Views or Columns, table filters should show up with the icon (see screenshot) - to improve the visibility of these new options.

Hierarchy filter for Tableau - assets can now be filtered by their parent projects.

The CMD + K Search Bar will appear in the top navigation on all pages except the “Discover Assets” page and the Homepage.

Persona/Purpose switcher is available on CMD + K search. Once you change the persona or purpose in the switcher, the filters and search results will reflect new results.

If a Persona/Purpose is already selected on the main asset page, the same will be pre-loaded on the CMD+ K search box and vice-versa.

Infinite load support for search results → when you scroll to the end of search results, more results will load automatically, till we reach the last search result.

Persona/Purpose preferences support on the sidebar tabs. Atlan will show a badge indicating the persona/purpose selected on the assets page.

Sidebar tabs will change as per policy in the asset profile.

BI preview support in Looker asset profiles if preview is enabled for that asset at the connection level! 

Introduced new Copy and Download CTAs in the sample data table section.

Basic UI improvements to Column Preview to make it more easy to use.

Asset Profile - Lineage Tab

We introduced branding on process nodes (here you see Snowflake and Looker logos as small circular icons on the lines) for the Lineage tab in Asset Profile.

We've introduced a new metadata editing experience to optimize the sidebar experience for consumption as well as editing.

Click anywhere under the labels and get into edit mode!

To save the new changes -> hit Enter/Return on the keyboard or click Save on the popover.

Classifications/Owners/Terms can also be unlinked/removed from an asset without going into the edit mode from their respective popovers if the user has all the required permissions.

Pill changes for owners, classifications and terms.

The plus (+) button has been shifted to the right side of every section (terms, classifications, owners). We also got rid of the borders to bring to you a much cleaner sidebar.

New icon & behavior for deprecated certification. If the asset is deprecated, certification moves to the top of the sidebar.

Note: When certification changes back to no certification/draft /verified, it moves back below the classification.
