Tag propagation is now disabled by default in Atlan! This gives you the power to decide whether you want tags to be propagated to your child, downstream, or linked assets.

If you have ever ended up inadvertently tagging hundreds of downstream assets, you can rest easy now. With No propagation as the new default setting for tags in Atlan, tags will only be attached to the intended asset. You can enable tag propagation as needed.
