New Entity Creation Workflow Now Supports Data Products
🎉 What’s new
Data Products can now be selected as an entity type in the New Entity Creation governance workflow template. This release empowers organizations to enforce governance controls when creating Data Products. Here's how it works:
- Whenever a user creates a new Data Product, the workflow will automatically trigger an approval process—ensuring governance from the start.
- If a user attempts to update the status of a Data Product from Sunset, Archived, or Draft to Published, the workflow will be activated to maintain compliance and governance.
