Explore granular filters for custom metadata

🎉 What's new

Atlan now supports more granular filtering options for custom metadata! You can use the connections, glossaries, and other asset types filters to configure where custom metadata should be displayed, helping you precisely curate your users' experience in Atlan.

Here's how the new filters can help you:

  • Use the Connections and applicable asset types filters to enable custom metadata enrichment for assets within a selected connection and limit them to specific asset types within that connection.
  • Use the Glossaries and applicable asset types filter to enable custom metadata enrichment for specific glossaries and limit them to terms or categories within a selected glossary.
  • Use the Other assets filter to enable custom metadata enrichment for assets that neither fall under the rubric of a connection or glossary — currently only file assets are supported.

Your existing custom metadata in Atlan remains unchanged, applying to all connections and glossaries by default — admin users can refine the settings as needed.

Enjoy more granular controls on your custom metadata with the new filters!
