When a user raises a metadata update request, they usually have to wait for an admin to approve or reject it. There is often a broken feedback loop here — with the admin user not knowing about the request right away while the one who raised it keeps waiting...

Let's change that! With request notifications sent over DM:

• Any user who has access to the asset will receive a notification in Slack when a request is raised for a metadata update.
• If multiple users receive a request notification, any one user with the requisite permissions can take action and the status of the request will be displayed to the rest — no further action required.
• Enabling request notifications is as easy as toggling on the option in your Slack integration settings, and start receiving them right now!
